So the fascists who control the US government are making mouth noises about charging anyone who says “Trump should die from the virus”, or just “Trump should be dead/I hope he dies” with *Sedition*, a felony that can carry the death penalty. I thought I should respond to this.
They aren’t calling for people who make specific threats of violence against specific people to be charged, as the law currently proscribes, but they want “sedition” charges for anyone who says “I hope Trump dies”, as fascists will do when you allow them to take power and dictate the narratives of your reality.
I felt like this was a good opportunity to update my blog, as I’ve been avoiding it in favor of brooding, clenching my jaw, and generally avoiding confronting the fact that this may end up bringing us to a civil war before we can free ourselves, and so here are a few supportive words for the president’s real or faked viral disease.
Like any relatively sane person alive, I hope that Donald Trump dies horribly and slowly of the covid, but I hope that his malignant narcissism guides him to do it publicly and on camera so that the populations he has harmed can see it with their own eyes. The American people and many around the world would benefit greatly from seeing this, and perhaps once Trump and his fascist goonsquad are dead and/or exiled, then maybe America can try to be Great Again, perhaps for the first time in 200 years of perpetual war, classism, and Caucasian, Judeo-Christian oligarchy.
Trump’s death would be an objectively positive event for the majority of people alive today. Prove me wrong.
Sadly, the entire thing may have been faked for the opportunity to write more religious propaganda for the Q cult and/or the religious zealots that make up most of his base, but one can hope!
