At the end of World War 2, 1000s of Adolph Hitler’s savage Nazis were given new, secret identities and allowed to blend into various allied countries because they were considered too valuable to lose and that many would make good anti-communist spies. Many of these secret Nazis were indeed used as informants or spies against communist countries around the world, then allowed to come back to the U.S. or other allied countries to live their lives. Some of them were hunted, discovered, and brought to justice, but many had their files scrubbed by our state and would never be discovered.
Did the people back home know their sworn enemies – those who had murdered their neighbors, family, friends and devastated many countries in the name of an insane white supremacy mythology – were being quietly brought into their country because members of the U.S. state secretly thought they were useful? Operation Paperclip is the official name of one of the then-secret intelligence programs, which brought in over 1,600 Nazi scientists (on the record) including a number of “officers who worked with leaders of the Nazis party”.
Did the folks back home know that it was easier for Nazis, including those who ran concentration camps and tortured prisoners, to obtain U.S. VISAs than it was for Jewish victims to get them? Just how deep did the collaboration between Nazis and the U.S. government go, and when will the remaining classified files on this relationship be unsealed? Do any of us realize that the U.S. government of the day considered Jewish people in the same light the Nazis did, (“Lazy, selfish people”) and that one of the most influential anti-refugee groups in the U.S. at the time was the ‘German American Bund’, led by someone described as the “American Fuhrer”?
This PBS video clip is from a documentary directed by Ken Burns, which is incidentally one of the many reasons the U.S. fascist oligarchy is currently trying to destroy PBS, and it delves into the story of how America refused holocaust refugees and tried to cover it up with spying fears.

-Destroy or severely damage the existing economy to force the wealthy classes to either polarize to him or be destroyed
-Attack free speech, free press
-Hold military parades in his own honor
-Openly support genocide without even the pretenses of his horrible neoliberal predecessor.
-Openly threaten allies, threaten the annexation of allies’ land.
-Remove the US from human rights conventions….
As a ‘Patriotic American’, if you are one, how do you feel about the defeated enemies of our nation rising into positions of power inside the state, siphoning away our futures for themselves? We can all see them openly manipulating the stock market for personal gain, right?
